On Thursday, December 19 2024, within the framework of international cooperation between the Hellenic Armed Forces and allied and friendly countries, the “Joint Action Plan (JAP) Greece-Cyprus-Armenia” and the “Greece-Armenia Military Cooperation Program” for the year 2025 were signed, at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS).

Both the “Joint Action Plan” and the “Military Cooperation Program” are a continuation of the respective programs signed in 2024 and include, among other things, cooperation on operational training activities, Special Forces – Special Operations Forces joint training, cooperation on lessons learned and lessons identified and staff meetings at  Director level.

All cooperative actions confirm the strong military ties between the countries and aim to upgrade the operational capabilities of the participants’ Armed Forces and enhance their level of interoperability, highlighting Greece’s, Cyprus’ and Armenia’s role as pillars of security and stability in the Caucasus and Eastern Mediterranean region.
