On Thursday, February 08 2024, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) General Dimitrios Choupis received a phone call from the Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Armed Forces Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi.
During the communication, issues of mutual interest were discussed, with particular emphasis on the prevailing situation in the Middle East region.
Lieutenant General Herzi Halevi congratulated the Chief of the HNDGS on assuming his duties and wished him success in his work, while the Chief of the HNDGS extended an invitation for an official visit to our country at the earliest convenience.
