From Monday 15 to Friday 26 April 2024, as part of the military cooperation between Greece and the USA, the bilateral exercise called «STOLEN CERBERUS XI» occured under the coordination of the Special Warfare Command (SWC) of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS).
On the Greek side, personnel and assets from the SWC of the HNDGS and from the Greek Navy, personnel from the Parachute School of the Greek Army, as well as aircraft of the Hellenic Air Force participated, while personnel from 37th Airlift Squadron and three C-130J aircraft participated on the American side.
The exercise took place in the wider area of Attica. During the training, air cooperation, dropping supplies on land and sea, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), as well as static line and military free fall jumps were performed, which contributed to increasing the level combat capability and interoperability between the participating forces of the two countries.
