On Friday 1st of November 2019, the Chief of Defence (CHOD) General Christos Christodoulou and his Bulgarian counterpart, General Andrey Botsev, attended the Distinguished Visitors Day (DVDay) of the Special Operations Forces Exercise (SOFEX) “ΒΑLKAN SOLIDARITY-2019”, which was conducted in the vicinity of Nevrokopi (Drama) area, with the participation of Hellenic and Bulgarian SOF.
During their meeting the CHODs discussed matters of mutual interest, such as bilateral cooperation and security issues in the Balkans region.
