On Tuesday, 12 November 2024, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), General Dimitrios Choupis, met with a delegation of students from the CAPSTONE General and Flag Officer Course of the US National Defence University (NDU) during their visit to Greece.
During the meeting, the Chief of the HNDGS highlighted the importance of the bilateral strategic relationship and exchanged views on geopolitical and geostrategic issues, both regionally and globally. Furthermore, he observed that Greece is a reliable ally, which respects the International Law and the principle of good neighbourly relations. Greece also participates with its Armed Forces in activities and operations of the Alliance and EU, as well as in multilateral cooperation schemes.
