On Tuesday, January 30 2024, Lieutenant General Prokopios Mauraganis assumed command from the Chief of the HNDGS General Dimitrios Choupis. The Deputy Minister of the National Defence, Mr. Ioannis Kefalogiannis attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, which took place at the «LIEUTENANT GENERAL CHRISTODOULOS TSIGANTES» Camp, was presided over by the Bishop of Rogon, Mr. Philotheos, representing the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, Mr. Ieronymos, and were also present:

  • The Member of Parliament of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance, former Minister of the National Defence and Honorary Chief of HNDGS Admiral ret. Evangelos Apostolakis.
