On Friday 24 May 2024, as part of his official visit to Romania, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), General Dimitrios Choupis, attended as a speaker the Black Sea and Balkans Security Forum, held in Bucharest.
During the forum, various topics were discussed, including the evolving geostrategic situation in the broader Balkans and Black Sea region, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the emerging security challenges facing the European Union and NATO.
Additionally the Chief of the HNDGS had a meeting with the Ambassador of Greece in Bucharest, Ms. Evangelia Grammatika, with whom he discussed international developments in the broader region, as well as the bilateral relations.
