From Tuesday 12 March to Friday 12 April 2024, a bilateral Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) between the Armed Forces of Greece and the United States occurred in the Attica-Viotia area .
The activity aimed at the development and further enhancement of military cooperation between the Special Operations Forces (SOF) of the two countries, with the goal of exchanging expertise, and achieving synergy and interoperability.
On the Greek side, personnel and assets from the Special Warfare Command (SWC) of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) participated, while personnel and assets from the US SOCEUR participated on the American side.
During the training, operational objects were executed, as follows:
● Immediate Action Drills.
● Close Quarter Battle – CQB.
● Procedures and conduct of explosions – demolitions.
● Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
● High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) – High Altitude High Opening (HAHO) operational jumps.
