From Monday, 6th to Friday 17th July 2020, the Underwater Demolition Command (UDC) and the US Special Operations Command (US SOCOM) personnel have conducted a scheduled operational co-training took place in the areas of the North and Central Aegean, the Saronic Gulf as well as in the facilities of the UDC.
The aforementioned training involved Unorthodox Warfare Vessels and Special Operations Groups from the UDC, CCM Vessels (Combat Craft Medium) and a Naval Special Warfare Unit from SOCOM, as well as a gunboat from the Naval Special Warfare Unit.
The exercise contributed to the training of participants in Special Operations procedures and serials as well as to promote of their level of cooperation in an allied framework.
