On Thursday 14th of July 2020 the Chief of Hellenic National Defense General Staff (HNDGS) General Konstantinos Floros, paid an official visit to Israel, following an invitation extended by the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Aviv Kochavi.
During the visit, the two leaders met and discussed issues of mutual interest with an emphasis on developing a common vision for enhancement stability and peace in the Eastern Mediterranean region, in the light of recent developments.
Both sides reaffirmed the benefits of their cooperation at the military level, in which joint actions and exercises are carried out with the participation of assets and personnel from all three branches of the Armed Forces. Discussion focused also to further deepen cooperation.
