On Wednesday 19 February 2020 the Distinguished Visitors Day (DV Day) of the bilateral training between the 1st Army Aviation (GRC) and the 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade (USA) took place in Stafanovikeio, Greece
The training began in October 2019 at training areas all over Greece. It focusses on the conduct of flights (day and night) with rotary wing aircraft, airmobile operations, Field Training Exercises (FTX) and Live Fire Exercises.
The DV Day activities were attended by the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS) Lieutenant General Haralambos Lalousis, as a representative of the Hellenic Chief of Defence (CHOD), the Ambassador of the USA to the Hellenic Republic Geoffrey R. Pyatt and delegations of Officers of the Hellenic Armed Forces.
