On Tuesday 5 November 2019, Greece, Cyprus and Israel signed a trilateral cooperation military programme for 2020, in Cyprus.
The programme was signed by the Director of Policy and Strategy Branch of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, Rear Admiral Dimitrios Kavoulakos HN, the Israeli Director of Policy Branch, Major General Amir Abouliafa and the Cypriot commander of 20th Armored Brigade, Brigadier General Michail Parperis.
During their meeting, they discussed also issues about the security and defence challenges in the Eastern Mediterranean.
