The hand over ceremony of the Hellenic CHOD took place on the premises of the Military Academy in Athens, on 10 August 2009.
The Minister of National Defence, Mr. Evangelos Meimarakis, the Deputy Ministers of MoD, Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis and Kostas Tassoulas, Members of Parliament, the Chiefs of the General Staffs, and Flag Officers and Senior Officers of the Armed Forces, representatives from the local Authorities and other officials honored the ceremony with their presence.
