It is announced that the HNDGS Chief, General Dimitrios GRAPSAS along with the HAGS Chief, Vice General Dimitrios VOULGARIS, are visiting Afganistan from 11 to 12 December. During his visit, the HNDGS Chief will address the Staff of the Hellenic Special Composition Battalion of Afganistan (TESAF) and exchange wishes on the occasion of the holidays.
In addition, a meeting with the ISAF (COMISAF) Commander, General David D. KcKiernan (USA), is scheduled, during which an exchange of views regarding the ISAF mission progress and potential on strategic and operational level, is going to take place. Furthermore, the HNDGS Chief will get a briefing by the French Brigade Commander Michel Stollsteinert regarding the activities of the French Brigade, the command of which is the Hellenic Special Composition Battalion of Afganistan.
The HNDGS Chief along with the rest of the delegation, on their way to Afganistan, will pay a short visit to Armenia, accepting an invitation by the Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces. During their stay at Erevan, the delegation will attend an official dinner given by the Armenian Minister of Defence.
