It is announced that the Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates , Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithy, will pay an official visit to Greece from 11 to 12 March 2007, officially invited by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Panagiotis Chinofotis HN.
Following the full honour ceremony at “PAPAGOU” military camp, the Chief of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates will have cooperation with the Chief/HNDGS on issues of mutual military interest and the prospect οf further developing military cooperation between the two countries.
Additionally, both Chiefs will sign a military cooperation agreement.
Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithy will have a courtesy call with the Minister of Hellenic National Defence, Mr. Evangelos Meimarakis.
