It is announced that the Council of the Chiefs of General Staffs, on 26 of January 2007, following the vacancy created by the appointment of the Chief of Tactical Air Force as Chief of the Hellenic Air Force General Staff, conducted an extraordinary career evaluation of the Air Force General Officers and decided as follows:
To retire Lieutenant General (HAF) Margaritis Mouzas, as “having successfully terminated his career”. The Council honoured him with the title of Honorary B’ Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff.
To “selectively” promote Major General (HAF) Theologos Simeonidis and Major General (HAF) Michael Papadopoulos to the rank of Lieutenant General, to feel the vacancies.
