From Wednesday 9 August till Monday 14 August, in the framework of Lebanon humanitarian operation, Hellenic Navy and Hellenic Aif Force assets operated as follows:

Wednesday, 9 Aug: A C-130 aircraft transported to Cyprus humanitarian aid, consisting of medicine and food. Total weight: 14 tons.

Wednesday, 9 Aug: Hellenic Navy landing ship “CHIOS” (LSTH), transported from Larnaka to Lebanon 68 tons of humanitarian aid and four (4) UN vehicles.

On her way back (10 August), 188 civilians were evacuated, among which 37 Greeks. The ship also evacuated nationals from other countries, namely: Germany, Argentina, Cyprus, the United States of America, Canada, Lebanon, Mexico, Sweden, Austria, Venezuela, Palestine, Romania, Trinidad and Denmark.

Friday, 11 Aug: A C-130 aircraft transported to Cyprus humanitarian aid, consisting of medicine and food. Total weight: 10,5 tons.

Sunday, 13 Aug: Hellenic Navy landing ship “CHIOS” (LSTH) transported to Lebanon humanitarian aid from Greece and Cyprus. Total weight: 31 tons.

On her way back (14 August), 95 civilians were evacuated, among which 17 Greeks. The ship also evacuated nationals from other countries, namely: Sweden, Lebanon, Cyprus, Russia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Philippines, Germany, India, the United States of America and Australia.
