The annual works of “Global Futures Forum” Conference took place in the facilities of NATO Maritime Interdiction Training Center, in Crete, from 26 to 27 May 2009, under the auspices of NATO/HQ/WMDC (Weapons of Mass Destruction Center) and DTRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency).
GFF Conference is annually hosted, on a rotation basis, in NATO Member-states. The participants belong to a multinational community of experts from Security and Information Organizations, academics and representatives from non-governmental agencies and the Industry.
The topic of the Conference is the global stability and security, aiming at the strengthening and promotion of mutual understanding between the participants on security matters.
