HELLENIC ARMED AND SECURITY FORCES ATHLETE AND TEAM PRIZE AWARD CEREMONY FOR THE YEAR 2008 (PRESS RELEASE No.08/2009)

It is announced that on Tuesday 17 February at 19:00 at the premises of the Hellenic War Museum (Vas. Sofias str. and Rizari str. intersection) the yearly prize award ceremony of athletes and teams of the Armed and Security Forces, who excelled during the year 2008, will be held.

The award ceremony is hosted by the Supreme Athletic Board of the Armed and Security Forces of the HNDGS and will be attended by the Deputy Mod Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis and the Chief HNDGS General Dimitrios Grapsas. Invited guests are also the Chiefs of the Hellenic Police Force, Coast Guard and the Fire Brigade.

Delegations of the General Staffs and of Security and Armed Forces units will be present.

Mass Media are invited to cover the ceremony.
