On the 12th of October, in the framework of the celebration of the Spanish National Day, the NRDC-ESP, which is based at the city of Valencia (SPAIN), participated in the parade which took place in Valencia.
Among the ensigns – representatives of the 12 countries which participated in the parade was a professional non-commissioned officer of the Greek Armed Forces, who is serving the NRDC-ESP force.
In addition, the Norwegian flag from the NATO Rapid Deployment Command Force, which is based at the city ROTA of Spain, participated as well.
The date of the 12th of October is established as the Spanish National Celebration Day, as, on that specific date in the year 1952, Christopher Colombus discovered the American Continent. The mentioned majestic festivities take place on a yearly basis and representatives from foreign countries are invited.
