It is announced that the Chief of the Czech Armed Forces will pay an official visit to Greece from 2 to 4 September 2008, following a formal invitation extended by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Grapsas.
General Vlastimil Picek , following a full honors ceremony at the Hellenic MoD, will discuss issues of bilateral military cooperation with the Chief/HNDGS and he will be given a presentation on the Defence Policy of Greece.
During his visit to Greece, General Vlastimil Picek will visit the 1st Army Aviation Brigade, at Stefanovikio. Accompanied by his wife, he will also have a sightseeing tour of Athens.
