Today Saturday 17 May 2008, the concluding phase of the Field Exercise “SARISA ’08” was conducted. The exercise was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr. Ioannis Plakiotakis, the HNDGS Chief General Dimitrios Grapsas, the three Chiefs of the General Staffs and Foreign Affairs and Defence Standing Committee members of the Hellenic Parliament.
“SARISA” is a National, Joint Large Scale FTX at Formation Level of full force deployment exercise that was conducted in two phases. The final phase, in addition to the above persons was attended by Defence Attaches of foreign countries to Greece, local authorities and mass media representatives.
