The Multinational Peace-keeping Support Training Center, based at Kilkis, will conduct a two-week training course (Advanced Multinational Officers School for Peace-keeping Support Operations), starting on the 25th February 2008.

Twenty five (25) Officers from 15 countries (Armenia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Italy, Canada, Lebanon, Morocco, Montenegro, Ukraine, Serbia and the Czech Republic) will attend the course.

During the course, the trainees will attend 37 hypothetically assumed theories, on Peace-keeping Support Operations, in which basic subjects will be explicated in detail.

The objective of the course is to:
   •  Educate and prepare officers from various countries as Battalion Commanders, during peace-keeping support operations.
   •  Educate Staff-officers to function in a multinational Brigade, deployed during peace-keeping operations.

The trainees, during their stay in Greece, will participate in cultural events and will visit the archaeological site of Vergina, as well as other major sights.
