It is announced that, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Panagiotis Chinofotis HN, following an official invitation extended by the Chief of Defence of Italy, Admiral Gianpaolo Di Paola, will visit Italy from the 18th to the 20th of July 2007.
The two Chiefs will cooperate on matters of mutual military interest, and will examine issues regarding the military structures of the E.U., the participation of the two countries in U.N., E.U. and NATO operations, as well as the further development of bilateral cooperation. Furthermore the two Chiefs will have discusses on military issues in an international level.
The Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff will have a courtesy call with the Italian Minister of Defence Mr. Arturo Parisi and will visit the Italian Navy Fleet Command.
