It is announced that the Chief of the Armed Forces of Montenegro, Lieutenant General Jovan Lakcevic, will pay an official visit to Greece from 05 to 07 February 2007, officially invited by the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Admiral Panagiotis Chinofotis HN.
Following a full honour ceremony at “PAPAGOU” military base, the Chief of the Armed Forces of Montenegro will have formal discussion with the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff on issues of mutual military interest and the possibility for further development of military cooperation between the two countries. Additionally, Lt. General Jovan Lakcevic will visit the Special Forces Training Center, Hellenic Defence Industry facilities and the National Center for Coordination of Search and Rescue.
The Chief of the Armed Forces of Montenegro will also have courtesy call with the Minister of National Defence, Mr Evangelos Meimarakis.
During his stay in Greece, the Chief of the Armed Forces of Montenegro will have guided tours at museums and archaeological sites.
