From 30 November to 2 December 2015, the Head of the HNDGS Joint Special Operations Command, Major General Basilios Koukoulommatis paid a planned visit to Cairo, Egypt, in the frame of the current (2015) MPR between the two countries.
During the visit, Major General Basilios Koukoulommatis visited the Division COMMANDOS HQs, where he was received by his counterpart, Brigadier General Ayman Mahmoud Shahaha, attended a demonstration of the capabilities of the Egyptian Special Forces and discussed bilateral issues of the present and future cooperation-training in the field of Special Forces.
