From 6 to 9 December 2016, the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mahmoud Hegazy, is visiting Greece, following an invitation extended to by the HNDGS Chief, Admiral Evangelos Apostolakis HN.
On Wednesday 7 December 2016, the two Chiefs will attend a series of the Bilateral Maritime Exercise “MEDUSA 3/2016” drills, on board ENS TAHYA MISR and HS NABARINON respectively, sailing in southeastern Aegean and Cretan Sea.
On Thursday 8 December 2016, the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces will visit the HNDGS HQs.
