On Friday February 15th 2019, at the “Papagou” Military Base, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, General Christos Christodoulou, welcomed the Chief of the General Staff of the Armies of France, General Francois Lecointre, who was on an official visit in Greece on the 14th and 15th of February 2019.
During the bilateral meeting, there were discussions regarding a further increase in military cooperation in areas of operational and individual training, as well as the mutual participation of all three branches of the two countries’ armed forces in sectional and cross-sectional exercises, on a bilateral level and within the context of NATO.
