A delegation of the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, headed by Commander Michael Naum, director of the Public Relations Division, visited Yerevan in Armenia, from the 25th to the 28th of February 2019, for the purpose of signing the Military Cooperation Program for the year 2019. The head of the Armenian side was Mr Levin Grigori Ayvazyan, head of the Defense Policy Department of ARM MoD. The MCP 2019 includes activities such as:
a. Training at Schools of Peacekeeping Operations Support.
b. Visits of health service personnel at Greek Military Hospitals
c. Collaboration in specialized matters of the Hellenic Army General Staff.
In Parallel, there was an expansion in new areas of mutual interest in the context of reinforcing existing military cooperation.
