On Friday 3 May 2019, the Chief of Defence (CHOD) , General Christos Christodoulou attended the NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) change of command ceremony at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Mons Belgium, between the outgoing General Curtis M. Scaparrotti (US Army) and General Tod D. Wolters (US Air Force.)
The CHOD also met the Head of Mission of the Permanent Delegation of Greece to NATO , ambassador Spiros Lambridis, and visited both the Military Representatives of Greece, to the NATO Military Committee and SHAPE.
