On Friday, 30 of August 2019, the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, Vice Admiral Ioannis Paxivanakis, attended the ceremony of the change of command of the SEDM-CC Coordination Committee’s Presidency and of the Politico-Military Steering Committee (PMSC) from Greece to Albania, in the context of the South-Eastern EuropeDefense Ministerial Process that took place in Tirnavos, Larissa at SEEBRIG Brigade .
Greece, took over the SEDM-CC/PMSC’s Presidency on the 1 st of July 2017 for a period of
two years (2017-2019); during this time, Emeritus Ambassador Mr. Eleftherios Aggelopoulos
served as the President and Major General Achilleas Taouxis as the Director. Furthermore,
during the ceremony, the SEEBRIG’s 20 th anniversary took place.
