On Thursday 13 February 2020 the Defence Cooperation Programme between Greece and Israel was signed for the year 2020. In charge of the Hellenic side was Commodore (HN) Michael Naoum, Director of the International Relations Directorate at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS) while of the Israeli delegation was Brigadier General Efraim Defrin, Head of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) International Cooperation Unit.
The aforementioned Programme consists of bilateral activities with regard to operational training.
