From July 02nd to July 13th 2012, Counter –Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) and Asymmetric Threats Pilot Course washosted in NMIOTC premises.


The aim of the coursewas to strengthen students’ ability to defend vessels against not onlyImprovised Explosive Devices (IED), but also against and other asymmetricthreats while they are in harbor or at anchor within harbor limits or operatein confined waters.


In total 18 traineesparticipated in the course coming from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, FinlandGreece, New Zealand, Spain and Netherlands.
