In the framework of the bilateral defence cooperation between China and Greece talks are being held between delegations of HNDGS and the Chinese Ministry of Defence, on 14 and 15 January 2010.

The purpose of those talks is to consolidate and enhance strategic defence cooperation between the two countries and to exchange information and views, on issues of mutual interest.

The agenda includes, among others, issues such as operational training of the Armed Forces of the two countries, bilateral exercise attendance, strategic transportation, and presentation of the AMSCC. There will also be exploratory talks regarding military doctrines, cooperation on military history, as well as the possibility of  increased attendance of the Hellenic  language  courses  at the Athens University, by Chinese officers.
